After quite some time spent on cockpit layout planning and working through all the different avionic options.
One of the highlights is for sure the vertical power VP-200 systems which is a managing all electrical devices.

I worked the first time with honeycomb and glass to build a stable but very light console, its fun to work with once I went through a rough learning period.

I hope that this will stay like this. I just wanted to let you know how I approached this and that it worked well for me.

I glued the overhead console to the cabin top and also installed the door lock mechanism from planearound.com, great quality and quite straight forward installation.

I received the upgraded EFIS an EM systems and they are now called AF-4500 or the deck and offers besides other things synthetic vision and a European map. Every thing works fine. Actually I had problems with the EFIS audio first but I had caused the problem myself due to two fliped wires the went into the wrong pins.
After experimenting with the wire antenna glued to the center bar I finally decided to buy and install a proper antenna for my COM 2. After installation I could read TWR Zürich loud and clear.
Most of the time was spend to secure all the wiring and the static and pito tubes behind the panel but it‘s done now.

One other thing was the magnetometer mount in the tailcone or right behind the baggage area. I made a bracket and it should position the magnetometer in the right angle on all three axes as the EFIS is mounted.
However I am back in the workshop and try to get there at least once a week again. A couple things have been delivered such as the Aerosport-Products overhead console and the interior panels. Also after some hassle with the delivery my carpets and glare-shield cover arrived.
